Following a Trend

I never thought I'd find myself starting a blog. It's become one of those things that everyone else is doing so I wanted to avoid. Not that I'm a crazy rebel or anything I just try to avoid following every trend that comes along. Frankly, it came down to realizing if I'm supposed to be a writer I should damn well write something.
My lovely title is a statement of where I am in my life. Some people have all their ducks in a row as the cliche goes, they have a job, a home and a love life to speak of - my brother is one of these people. I'm unemployed, live in a small bachelor apartment that I don't know how much longer I'll be living in, and I'm not even going start on my love life. So if my brother has all his ducks in a row I don't have any. This isn't a woe is me moment, just an explanation for my wierd title.
I'm sure my observations on the world will become more in depth as I continue but there are loud frat boys upstairs and I can't seem to focus.
