A natural-born nomad I'm now living in Peterborough, Ontario working at a daily newspaper. I love my career and can't wait to see where it takes me. I like to say I'm from everywhere. I've moved across the country three times in four years. I started off in Fernie, B.C., then to Calgary, a wild trip up to a freezing hell known as Fort McMurray, then it was back to Calgary before heading to Toronto and then to Picton. I recently returned to my Alberta roots when living in Medicine Hat. My favourite things in the world are the Beatles, pizza, coffee and my VW. I haven't seen my natural hair colour in 12 years and I always seem to need more shoes. I'm a journalist who specializes in absolutely everything. Before embarking on a 'real' career I was an accomplised waitress. I have a weakness for musicals, pizza, bad chick movies and 80s hair metal. I have some experience writing animal stories. But none of mine come close to comparing the utter hilarity of this article by our friend Patrick Evans of the Toronto Star. Read, laugh but please don't bring your dog to this thing or I will disown you as a friend.
