A natural-born nomad I'm now living in Peterborough, Ontario working at a daily newspaper. I love my career and can't wait to see where it takes me. I like to say I'm from everywhere. I've moved across the country three times in four years. I started off in Fernie, B.C., then to Calgary, a wild trip up to a freezing hell known as Fort McMurray, then it was back to Calgary before heading to Toronto and then to Picton. I recently returned to my Alberta roots when living in Medicine Hat. My favourite things in the world are the Beatles, pizza, coffee and my VW. I haven't seen my natural hair colour in 12 years and I always seem to need more shoes. I'm a journalist who specializes in absolutely everything. Before embarking on a 'real' career I was an accomplised waitress. I have a weakness for musicals, pizza, bad chick movies and 80s hair metal. Once again, dear readers, I ask for a quick bit of help. I'm pretty sure I'm right on this one, but if you could back me up, or tell me I'm wrong, on this one.

More tax woe
Shouldn't it be more tax woes? Or another tax woe?

I think you're right. I looked in two dictionaries. One had "woe" as a singular noun only, but the second had "woes" as a plural.
maybe it was supposed to be
"more tax...whoa!"
it can be both. if woe is singular it could refer to just one problem associated with taxes as. or plural because there can be several problems with taxes.
