A natural-born nomad I'm now living in Peterborough, Ontario working at a daily newspaper. I love my career and can't wait to see where it takes me. I like to say I'm from everywhere. I've moved across the country three times in four years. I started off in Fernie, B.C., then to Calgary, a wild trip up to a freezing hell known as Fort McMurray, then it was back to Calgary before heading to Toronto and then to Picton. I recently returned to my Alberta roots when living in Medicine Hat. My favourite things in the world are the Beatles, pizza, coffee and my VW. I haven't seen my natural hair colour in 12 years and I always seem to need more shoes. I'm a journalist who specializes in absolutely everything. Before embarking on a 'real' career I was an accomplised waitress. I have a weakness for musicals, pizza, bad chick movies and 80s hair metal. The long-awaited day finally arrived. After much thought, consideration, money crunching and a deep breath, I bought a new car. The family sedan is no more, Grandma Nicole is gone, I now have a car I can park almost anywhere and it makes a great little vrooom noise. Sure, it may not be able to carry a hockey team, and won't be as useful if I decide to join the Mafia but it's much more practical and a lot cuter.

Switched the Accord for the Jetta in January.
I decided, much like you, that I didn't need a geezer mobile.
