A natural-born nomad I'm now living in Peterborough, Ontario working at a daily newspaper. I love my career and can't wait to see where it takes me. I like to say I'm from everywhere. I've moved across the country three times in four years. I started off in Fernie, B.C., then to Calgary, a wild trip up to a freezing hell known as Fort McMurray, then it was back to Calgary before heading to Toronto and then to Picton. I recently returned to my Alberta roots when living in Medicine Hat. My favourite things in the world are the Beatles, pizza, coffee and my VW. I haven't seen my natural hair colour in 12 years and I always seem to need more shoes. I'm a journalist who specializes in absolutely everything. Before embarking on a 'real' career I was an accomplised waitress. I have a weakness for musicals, pizza, bad chick movies and 80s hair metal. Medicine Hat isn't the prettiest city I've ever lived in. But it does have some nice points. The view into downtown from the river this time of year is quite impressive with the view of city hall and the courrthouses.
I figure it was time I posted a nice pic of the Hat.
