Vacation notes

Apologies for not posting sooner, but the world is blowing up and I've been busy.
I thought my whirlwind vacation would be exhausting and I would return to Medicine Hat worse off than I left. Thankfully I was wrong.
I finally attended my last wedding of the summer, the first of my close friends was married in Banff and gave me the first opportunity to tel embarassing stories. All and all a good time.
I made a brief visit to my folks in Kelowna, where it is very hot, but the wine is good and I was able to swim in a friend's pool (thanks Blake).
The highlight of the vacation had to be Toronto, where I was able to revisit my old stompin' and drinkin' grounds. Here is a quick list of entertaining stories.
Best story I heard:
A gay friend of mine was walking home from a date with his arm around his date when they walked by a pimp with a hooker. The pimp said to my friend "Are you guys gay fo' real?" the answer, "yes." The pimp then said, "you wanna buy some crack?"
Requisite crazy person on the TTC:
Some random Polish guy dissed my taste in music, told me I needed to relax and accused me of calling him stupid. Thankfully a fellow passenger saved me by offering me a seat beside her. And Westerners think Torontonians are rude.
Friendly homeless guy:
I had a homeless guy give me a very nice compliment as I walked down Bloor, "Hi beautiful, you're looking nice today. I like your toenails" (toenails were bright turquoise)
For Andrew:
Go see Miami Vice, it rocks.
